The landscapes of the vineyards are a recognizable image of Istria, known for its top wines. Thanks to Kino Istra, the vineyards are becoming a unique backdrop for movie projections in the heart of this region. The program Cinema in the Vineyard brings the pleasure of watching three musical documentary movies in this unique outdoor ambience.
The movie Buena Vista Social Club will be screened on July 10 at the Fakin winery in Brkač near Motovun.
On July 15, the Matošević winery in Krunčići will screen the documentary Amy about the life of the prematurely deceased star Amy Winehouse.
And the third movie in the program is about one great musician. On July 18, in the vineyard next to Belaj Castle, viewers will enjoy the movie Bird on a Wire, which accompanies Leonard Cohen on his 1972 European tour.
The ticket for each screening is 50 kuna, and it includes a few glasses of wine that will be carefully chosen by the host winemakers. The movie projections start at 8.30 pm.
Wine, movies and music are three pleasures with which we will toast to life and the upcoming Motovun Film Festival, which will take place from 27 to 31 July.
