During the International Camp for Young Table Tennis Players, held in Vrsar from 17 to 23 December 2025, an educational segment focused on local gastronomy was organized, with particular emphasis on Vrsaranski amareti. The activity was designed for children up to 14 years old, giving participants the chance to learn about the basics of preparing this traditional sweet, as well as interesting facts about its history and cultural significance.
This approach allowed the young athletes to develop cultural awareness alongside their table tennis training, gaining a deeper understanding of the importance of local gastronomy as part of the destination’s tradition and identity.
