September in Vrsar offers a diverse programme that blends art, music, and local tradition.
The month begins with Montraker, an open-air sculpture school that transforms the historic quarry into a space of contemporary creativity. Istrian Evenings bring authentic local atmosphere with traditional music and folklore, while the ReBaCla festival presents a classical music concert in a unique setting.
The final Casanova Tour of the season takes you through Vrsar’s history with engaging storytelling, and the last Fishermen’s Festival invites visitors to enjoy seafood, live music, and a relaxed seaside vibe.
A special highlight is Dan amareta – on September 28th – a celebration dedicated to Vrsar’s signature dessert, which is recognised as intangible cultural heritage. The event includes tastings, workshops, local producers' presentations and live entertainment.
