The Public Open University of Poreč and the Tourist Board of the Municipality of Vrsar are proud to announce the winners of the Montraker Photography Contest 2025, which took place from September 1 to 22 this year. The theme of this year’s contest was "Sculpture in Progress" or "Sculpture in Space," and all interested photographers were invited to submit up to three photographs.
The jury, composed of:
Tina Širec Džodan, Art Historian
Sebastijan Vojvoda, Academic Painter and Head of the Art Department at the University
Andi Bančić, Art Teacher and Art Department Officer at the University
reviewed all submitted works and made the following decisions:
Third Prize (100 €): Konrad Višković for the photograph Untitled
Second Prize (200 €): Zvonimir Perić for the photograph Vir
First Prize (300 €): Sara Reljica Kostić for the photograph Summer
The prizes will be presented to the winners by the Director of the Tourist Board of the Municipality of Vrsar, Klara Trošt Lesić.
All awarded photographs will be printed in the Montraker 2025 catalog, which will be presented in September 2026, on the opening day of the 36th International Student Sculpture School Montraker. Additionally, selected photographs will be displayed on the Vrsar waterfront.
The winning photograph will be used on all promotional materials for the next edition of Montraker.
