Religious music choir festival
The festival originally named "Musica sacra über die Grenzen," which was initiated more than 20 years ago by conductor Manfred Linsbauer with the idea of bringing together people from Austria and neighboring countries to create music, was first held in Croatia in 2015. The host countries of past editions of the festival have been Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Italy, and Slovenia. Thanks to the Ars Cultura association and the mixed choir "Roženice" from Pazin, with the support of the Rovinj Tourist Board, the Vrsar Tourist Board, and Maistre Ltd., Croatia has been marked on the festival map and has become its traditional host.
The festival will take place in Vrsar, but also in Rovinj and central Istria.
The opening concert will be held in Vrsar on Thursday, October 16th, at 8:00 PM at the Church of St. Mary of the Sea.
