On the last Sunday of September, Vrsar once again becomes the host of the 3rd Amareto Day, a boutique event dedicated to this traditional hazelnut cookie – a true guardian of local stories and flavours.

Amareto Day brings together gastronomy, tradition and creativity, preserving the story of Vrsar amareti and passing it on to new generations – from traditional production methods to contemporary interpretations.

The Vrsar Tourist Board, organiser of Amareto Day, is the recipient of several national and international awards:
