Vrsar Amareti – a traditional hazelnut treat inspired by local heritage
With great pleasure, we invite you to Dan Amareta – Festa dell’Amaretto, which will take place on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at Degrassi Square in Vrsar.
The program starts at 12:00 noon, and throughout the day you'll have the chance to enjoy a rich variety of events. The event is dedicated to Vrsar amaretti, a sweet treat that has become a symbol of our town, and includes a range of activities such as:

Throughout the day, visitors will have the opportunity to watch live preparation of the traditional Vrsar amaretti by associations: Mendule, Community of Italians Vrsar, Loze, Grota

This special event is organized on a day when all of Istria celebrates World Tourism Day, further emphasizing the importance of our local tradition in the context of sustainable tourism.

An interpretative walk dedicated to hazelnuts, including five stops in Vrsar’s old town where visitors, with a guide, can taste dishes from local caterers.
