Soprano Urška Kastelic graduated with honors from the Academy of Music in Ljubljana in 2016 in the class of assistant professor Sabine Cvilak. She also studied with associate professor Olga Gracelj and at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki with Outa Kähkonen. She received lessons from various renowned opera singers and teachers such as Snežana Nene Brzaković, Emma Kirkby, Mariana Nicolesco, Helena Lazarska and others. She won the Bruna Špiler International Singing Competition in Montenegro and was a semi-finalist in the European Community Competition for Young Opera Singers in Spoleto, Italy. With SNG Opera and Ballet Ljubljana, she sang the roles of Barbarina (The Marriage of Figaro), Venus (Orpheus in Hell) and Felicia (Beauty and the Beast). She performed twice at the Philharmonic Hall in Kaluga (Russia), in 2015 as a soloist in the opera War and Peace and in 2017 in the christening performance of the opera Anna Karenina in the role of the title character. She has also sung the opera roles of Gilda (Rigoletto), Norina (Don Pasquale), Suzanne (The Marriage of Figaro), Bastien (Bastien and Bastiena) and Ninon (The Nightingale of Gorenjska). She can also be seen in the successful children's opera Martin Krpan. She regularly gives concerts in Slovenia and has also toured in Italy, England, Greece, Montenegro, Austria, Germany, Russia, Romania, Croatia and Finland. She is a member and co-author of the group Tosca Beat.
Tenorist Blaž Gantar began his active singing career at the age of 24 with Prof. Mateja Arnež Volčanšek and Prof. Janko Volčanšek. During his studies, he appeared as a talented singer in the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra in 2007 - at the final concert and in the stage production of Novakov's Figaro. Since 2009 he has been working with the current professor, prima donna Dunja Vejzović, who teaches at the Opera School in Stuttgart. In March of the same year, he performed four reprises of Bernstein's West Side Story as Tony with the Symphony Orchestra of the Slovenian Philharmonic at Cankarjev dom, and again collaborated with the Ljubljana Opera - this time on the project Prince Igor (A.P. Borodin). At the Rijeka Opera he performed as Cavaradossi from the opera Tosca (aria E lucevan le stelle) and Manrico from the opera Il Trovatore. In 2011 he achieved his first international success. In April he competed for the role of Alfredo in Chur, the oldest city in Switzerland, with more than 120 participants from 12 countries, and convinced the commission the most. In August he made his debut in Verdi's La Traviata, which was repeated seven times with great success, the last time even in the famous Tonhalle in Zurich. At the end of 2011 he reached the semi-finals of the prestigious Magda Oliveiro Competition in Milan and made his debut with Verdi's La Traviata at the Ljubljana Opera, where he participated in several repeats. In February 2012 he sang in a solo concert in Tel Aviv, and in March he participated in the performance of Mozart's Requiem in Gorica. An international success followed in Orvieto, Italy, where he reached the finals in both categories among participants from 14 countries and also won in the Traviata category. The year 2012 ended with two concerts of opera arias in the town of Rab and in the Opera House in Rijeka.
Zdravko Perger, Slovenian baritone, was a member of SNG - Opera and Ballet Ljubljana from 1977 to 2012. He studied singing with the famous Slovenian opera singer Rudolf Franclav and with Prof. Alfred Burgstaler, a Slovenian opera singer of world renown, with Prof. Marijane Lipovšek, prof. M.Sc. Margarethe Sparber from the Vienna College of Music and Performing Arts in Vidok and in Worgl with Prof. Kurt Widmer from Basel. During his long career he sang the following roles: Baron Douphol (Verdi: Traviata), Marullo (Verdi: Rigoletto), Zerecki (Tchaikovsky: Eugene Onegin), Valentin (Gounod: Faust), Dancario (Bizet: Carmen), Fiorello and Figaro ( Rossini: The Barber of Seville), Schlemil and Herman (Offenbach: Tales of Hoffmann), Amantio (Puccini: Gianni Schicchi), Harlequin (R. Strauss: Ariadne auf Naxos), Chekalinsky (Tchaikovsky: Pique Dame), Belcore (Donizetti: Der Liebestrank) , Bretigny (Massenet: Manon), Kosec (d" Albert: Dead Eyes), Chansonette (Foerster: Mountain Nightingale), Canrnero (J. Strauss: Gypsy Baron), Krušina (Smetana, Bartered Bride), Storm (Roman Korsakov, The Immortal Kaschej), Schaunard, Alcindor (Puccini: La Bohème), Knight (Parma: Xenia), Prophet and Decimus Brut (Schvara: Cleopatra), Alavise and Lelio (Wolf-Ferrari: Curious Women) Emmanuel Schikanede (W.A. He devotes himself to Slovenian folk and art songs, focusing on novelties and sacred music. He also performed with RTZ Symphony Orchestra from Zagreb, Camerata Labacensis Symphony Orchestra from Ljubljana, TU Symphony Orchestra from Vienna, Pécs Symphony Orchestra (Hungary) and Filarmonia Veneta Symphony Orchestra from Treviso. He visited Italy, Austria, Croatia, Australia, Japan, France, Hungary and Germany. For four years he was a member of the famous Slovenian Octet.
