From 1 to 14 May 2026, the 11th edition of the gourmet event Vrsaranske goložece / Golosità di Orsera will take place, offering visitors the opportunity to enjoy excellent local specialties prepared especially for the occasion. Through specially designed menus, the event presents various interpretations of Istrian cuisine, where local and seasonal ingredients meet the personal culinary style of Vrsar’s chefs.
Seven restaurants and taverns from Vrsar are participating in the event: San Giorgio (Villa Vrsar), Goran, Kod Luce, Fančita, Konoba Riva, Skusha Local Fish and Lovor Real Grill (Belvedere). Each of them prepares two special menus – one fish-based and one meat-based.
Each menu consists of three courses accompanied by a glass of wine from Istrian winemakers, priced at €25 per menu.
Through these menus, chefs present their own view of Istrian gastronomy – from interpretations of classic recipes to creative combinations of seasonal ingredients. In previous years, menus featured specialties such as octopus with polenta, fuži pasta with asparagus, various fish starters, and traditionally prepared meat dishes, while this year’s menus will once again bring a range of exciting culinary ideas.
