In the enchanting setting of the Casanova viewpoint in Vrsar, starting at 8:30 PM, the ensemble Alma del viento – “Soul of the Wind” will perform. This outstanding group brings the richness of traditional music from Argentina, Bolivia, Peru, and Chile, interwoven with socially engaged songs of the Nueva canción movement.
Their program leads the audience on a special musical journey through the rhythms of huayno, cueca, chacarera, zamba, and other authentic styles, as well as original interpretations of Croatian traditional songs, especially from Međimurje, in a unique fusion of folklore and South American expression.
The ensemble consists of exceptional musicians led by flutist Zrinka Božičević Plavec, vocalist Ivana Galić, and guitarist Darko Horvat, joined by an international lineup of artists whose experience and passion create a concert rarely heard in this region.
