Experience an evening filled with song and fellowship in the special ambiance of the Church of St. Mary of the Sea.
The concert “Ususret ljetu / Incontro l’estate” will take place on Saturday, 6 June at 7:30 p.m. at the Church of St. Mary of the Sea / Chiesa di Santa Maria del Mare.
The program brings together four vocal ensembles: the Mixed Choir La Contrada, the Women’s Choir Mendule, the Female Vocal Ensemble Theremines, and the Women’s Choir Sklad Bakar. The repertoire is conceived as a cross-section of contemporary and traditional choral literature, with a focus on the Mediterranean musical idiom and the seasonal transition into summer.
The Church of St. Mary of the Sea, with its acoustics and intimate spatial character, provides an ideal setting for vocal music, enabling clarity of polyphonic texture and a natural projection of choral sound within the space.
