Istria300. Ride your Limits! Epic road bike routes in some of Istria’s finest roads and most spectacular locations will ensure a cycling experience of a lifetime.
The weekend’s highlight is the Istria300 bike ride through the whole Istria. Make your dream a reality and cycle up to 300 kilometres. The route will be closed for car traffic. All participants start and finish together in the beautiful town of Poreč and decide on the course of their preferred riding distance. There will be two opportunities to switch to a 235 and 155 kilometer loop.
A four-day program will surround Istria300 from September 26th until 29th, 2024 in Poreč. The Istria300 Expo, lectures, and a family program will make your stay in Poreč unforgettable. Istria300. Ride your Limits.
During the organization of the event itself, the organizer made a traffic study to ensure the flow of traffic and as few traffic jams as possible on the roads that day. Given the complexity of the organization itself and the need to ensure a high level of safety for all traffic participants, certain sections of public roads through which the race passes will be partially or completely closed on that day, and traffic will be carried out according to a special traffic regulation coordinated by representatives of the Ministry of the Interior with the organizer's security service. Vehicles will be allowed to pass in the direction of the race or over the route of this cycling marathon on most sections, but some sections will be difficult to drive for several hours.
Special traffic regulation will take place in the following terms and areas:
Western part of Istria:
6:45-7:30 Poreč – Vrsar
7:00-8:00 Vrsar – Sv. Lovreč
7:30-9:00 Sv. Lovreč – Dvigrad – Kanfanar – Svetvinčenat
10:00-19:00 Kaštelir/Labinci – Kukci – Červar – Poreč
15:00-18.30 Ponte Porton – Vranje selo – Kaštelir/Labinci
Regardless of the temporary traffic regulation that will be in force that day, emergency services and all vehicles aimed at taking care of the safety and health of residents will be allowed to pass with increased security measures.
