Vrsar will host a weekend dedicated to motorsport on the last weekend of October. Organised by AMK Skok Racing 1993, with AK Poreč Motorsport as co-organiser, the 4th Skok Racing 1993 Grand Prix will bring together a karting slalom for young drivers and the final round of the Croatian Championship in time trial driving.
Saturday, 24 October, will be dedicated to karting slalom and the next generation of drivers. From 10:00 to 16:00, the main car park in Vrsar will host a programme for children and young people, giving them the opportunity to demonstrate their driving skills, precision and concentration on a specially designed course. Participants will compete in age categories, with awards presented to the best performers. The event also offers young enthusiasts an opportunity to discover motorsport and take their first steps towards competitive driving.
Sunday, 25 October, will feature the main sporting event: the final round of the Croatian Championship in time trial driving. As the fourth round of this year's championship, the event will determine the final standings across several competition categories. Approximately 60 drivers are expected to take part. Following the practice sessions, three timed competition runs are scheduled, each offering competitors a final opportunity to secure valuable championship points.
By organising this event, AMK Skok Racing 1993 continues to promote motorsport in Istria, bringing together opportunities for young drivers to develop their skills and high-level competitive racing. Over two days, Vrsar will offer an engaging programme for young participants, experienced competitors and everyone interested in experiencing motorsport up close.
The event is held under the patronage of the Municipality of Vrsar, with the support of Montraker, the local municipal services company, and the Vrsar Tourist Board.
