The Vrsar Tourist Board invites you to an evening of Mediterranean popular music on Thursday, 26 June, at 8:30 PM, at the unique Casanova Viewpoint.
Set against a stunning backdrop that combines natural beauty with the unmistakable charm of the Mediterranean, visitors can look forward to an evening celebrating the musical traditions of Dalmatia and the Kvarner region, filled with emotion and timeless melodies.
The concert will feature performances by Joso Butorac and Mladen Žmak.
Joso Butorac is one of Croatia’s distinguished performers of popular and Mediterranean music, with many years of experience at the Melodies of Istria and Kvarner Festival (MIK). Widely recognized for his interpretations of Dalmatian and coastal songs, he is a multiple MIK winner. Among his most notable achievements are his festival victory in 2019 with the song “Primorska Arija” and the overall festival win in 2016 with “Ružica”. In 2023, he was also part of the winning festival entry “Suza s Kvarnera”.
Mladen Žmak is a renowned Croatian pianist and long-time musical collaborator at numerous concerts and popular music festivals. He is known for his refined and expressive piano performances, as well as his collaborations with many prominent Croatian artists, contributing significantly to the quality and artistic value of concert and festival productions.
Audiences can expect an unforgettable musical evening filled with Mediterranean melodies, heartfelt performances and an enchanting atmosphere, perfectly complemented by the panoramic setting of the Casanova Viewpoint.
