Vrsar entrances its numerous visitors with the rousing aroma of fresh grilled fish, as part of the rich Istrian culinary offer, and cheerful socializing while listening to music and dancing throughout the whole summer, from May to September.
The favourite town promenade, ’’riva’’ from May to September displays a brand new look and becomes a cordial host to the most visited fiesta honouring fishermen and their catches.
At the time of the fishermen festivals try sea fruits from the crystal clear Adriatic Sea, let locals teach you the secrets of successful fishing, and finally, with a glass of supreme Istrian Malvazija, sing from the bottom of your heart, imbued with the indigenous sea richess.
The Vrsar fisherman festivals are celebrations in praise of fish and sea fruits, held long into the hot Mediterranean night under the starlit sky.
The start of the festivities is at 6 pm.
